The Ribbon light fixture is a modern source of light that addresses the need for healthy lighting and aims to replace commonly used fluorescent tubes. Its modularity allows for a wide range of applications in public and private spaces both indoors and outdoors. The sturdy and durable construction ensures an ecological and cost-effective operation. The minimalist design with rounded corners is gentle on the eyes and integrates seamlessly into the environment.

My vision was to create a light fixture that, despite its simple form, allows for an infinite range of combinations and uses. The user will be able to install the fixture in a groove in the ceiling, in a railing, in the floor, hang it on the ceiling, on the wall, on a stand... It will be possible to assemble it into a system or chain them together. As it is a sturdy and waterproof device, it is suitable for both outdoor and indoor use. It is walkable and also resistant to vandals due to its enclosed aluminum structure.
During the design process, I focused on both the durability and sturdiness of the light fixture, as well as its optics and overall aesthetics. Now, several initial pieces can be seen at the „Lehká hlava“ restaurant or Chomutov.
